Petanque (Petanca)

Petanca PetanquePetanque is simple and similar to bowls, resting your boule closer to the jack than your opponent.
It is played on an area of fairly level stony ground with a metal boule rolled or tossed to the jack. Petanca is played in the leafy parks on sunny afternoons and is a popular family pastime in Caspe.
